Dove launched this campaigng for real beauty deal. It has all kinds of things about checking your perspective on beauty and where it came from.
There are programs about emphasizing the roll of Mother Daughter relationships to strengthen healthy images of personal beauty.
I support this belief and perhaps goal, but I was ready to rip on Dove for doing nothing but lip service on this one. Then I followed up (read as looked at their website). Hey! Normal looking people on there. Sure they are on the prettier side of things, but not some abstract idea of beauty. Nice work Dove.
