Exploring Education Endeavors
Feb 4
I have an Undergraduate in Business Management from the University of Phoenix*. Learned a lot from the program, developed some great skills, and even made some friends.
Here’s the kicker, I mostly have a degree. Sitting 9.37 credits (something lime 3 1/3 classes) from completion is embarrassing, and I need to remedy that pronto. There are a few options of how to do this.
- Clep (online tests that get college credits)
- Take some elective courses at UOP
- Take electives at community college, most likely Seattle Central Community College
Shouldn’t be that hard or costly to wrap this up.
What next then?
- MBA (most likely at University of Phoenix, I like the program there)
- Ruby on Rails Cert course at UW extension campus
- Stay home, have a beer
Time will tell I suppose.
Disclaimer: I work for the University of Phoenix. Decided to attend almost four years ago, got a job there to cover the cost. Got promoted a few times, finished the degree, stuck around. Now I help other folks go to school. Any comments I make in regard to the University of Phoenix are my own, and in no way sanctioned by the University.
