Blocks and Birthdays
Grandpa’s 81st Birthday along with Karen and Steph’s 29th birthdays.
Good times indeed.
Slideshow:
Also, blocks are probably the coolest toys ever.
Remember last year’s video, well here it is
Big shifting plans, shoe horned into a small blog…coupled with short attention span. Fool proof!

I found this going through my Mom’s old recipe books. She got it when she was in grade school (early 60’s) and used it right up to before she passed away a few years a go. Makes me very happy that the recipe is a big hit with our friends here, would have made her proud.
Feel free to use it, hope you have as good results as we have had. If you happened to have had these from the original source at some point, I hope it makes you smile to try them now. Man, that sounded wussy.

My Family (The Hoffmans) come from a long line of adventures and people who push the limits of human experience.
Witness this year’s COUSIN CHALLENGE.
Improving on the rather messy and disappointing, MILK CHALLENGE, we opted for the vomit inducing Saltine Challenge.
Basically, the goal is to eat 6 saltine crackers in one minute, no water or digestive lubricant allowed.
Try it. Very nearly impossible, we all failed. Feel free to check the video proof of failures.

A (too?) long video of my cousin’s paying hommage to the last great great rock band.
This is all shot at Mistie’s Club…which is in the lobby of the Clarion Hotel in Yakima, Wa.
Now, please note, aside from 15 or so of us, the rest of the people at this place weren’t guests. This is just the best that Yakima has to offer on a Saturday night.
Please note, this is not a Karaoke song, there are no lyrics…Jesse was just making this moment happen through sheer force of will (and awesomeness).
Best part, note the dance stylings of Rob (weird looking dude in purple tank top. Not related) and Striped Shirt McHead Bang. They came into my life, only to brighten it for a minute, before mysteriously wandering out the door.
By the by, that’s my cousin Jesse doing the lead vocals.
Update: Back Up Vocals by Diane, Courtney, Grant, maybe more…I haven’t even watch this dang thing all the way through.
