HTML 5 Excitement

I am out of the Web Nerd loop by at least a few years (something about my wife being way more interesting than monkeying around with code stuff) but some of the HTML 5 stuff rolling out is pretty slick. Particularly, I am interested in the state of the <video>  roll out. It will be a beauty of a day when folks can post a video and not have to monkey around with Flash (and the various suckiness that comes with that). Thinking I might throw together a page to play around with some of the stuff in the near future.
